  • Assess and identify sites that may not be ideal for implant therapy due to anatomical or physiologic conditions with and without CBCT technology.
  • Apprehend and apply the concept of minimally invasive extraction.
  • Familiarize with key armamentarium in extraction, socket grafting and surgical placement of dental implant.
  • Determine the design, length and diameter of a prospective implant that is optimized for the site of interest based on a CBCT technology.
  • Familiarise with key armamentariums that are necessary for the osteotomy formation.
  • Prepare the osteotomy, place an implant fixture, mount a cover screw or healing abutment, place bone graft if necessary and close the flaps with appropriate suturing techniques.

Hands-on Simulation Sessions

This course has siz hands-on sessions that will have you utilize your simulation kit to replicate a procedure on the manikin. You’ll receive live feedback from an educator in these sessions.

Case Guidance

Mentorship is an integral part of your learning process, which is why we have our educators give case guidance. Every six weeks, an educator will provide feedback on cases submitted through a live session. This enables you to learn and improve your quality of work at a faster rate.

 

Four case presentations allow you to present to one of your patients. Cases will cover implants, socket grafting, membrane use, suturing, planning and placing implants
