Unmasked: Tales from the Neurodivergent Trenches
With Dr Michael, Dr Josh, Dr Jaclyn, and Dr Chip
A RipeGlobal Panel Discussion
In this honest and open masterclass, four RipeGlobal educators share what it’s really like to live and work in dentistry while navigating ADHD, autism, or both.
They’ll discuss the journey from self-awareness to diagnosis, the relief that comes with understanding yourself, and the challenges that follow from burnout and overwhelm to the daily effort of masking.
But it’s not all struggle. You’ll also hear how traits like hyperfocus, empathy, and creativity have become powerful strengths in both their careers and personal lives.
This is not a clinical lecture, it’s a conversation about being human in a demanding profession.
If you’ve ever felt out of sync with how others seem to manage dentistry, this session is for you. Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself, suspect you might be, or simply want to better understand your peers, you’ll walk away with connection, insight, and a sense of belonging.
