“Treatment planning is so often taught as a clinical exercise. You go to an advanced course and learn advanced planning. You plan the occlusion, and the design, and the materials. You quote a lot of studies so you are evidenced based. Maybe you write a very detailed proposal, add nice photos, and put it in a glossy brochure. You even use the word “investment” instead of cost like you heard in some lecture...And then the patient says “I can’t afford it”. And all that time you spent planning is lost. And you start again. Or worse, they say “I’ll think about it” and you never see them again. This happened to me and I lost a lot of patients trying to offer ideal care.”

More Confidence = Less Stress

Learning outcomes include:

  1. How to work what the patient really cares about. (hint, it is not the chief complaint)
  2. How to present in the language that the patient understands.
  3. How to discuss money without going weird.
  4. How to offer ideal without offending the patient, even when it is more than their car.
  5. How to plan multidisciplinary treatment on complex cases fast, efficiently and with no stress.
  6. How to manage your non-verbal communication so you are not subconsciously telling the patient to go elsewhere.
  7. How to make difficult decisions more easily, quickly and with less worry.
  8. Why you need to build and show leadership in the clinical setting
  9. How to implement your changes to treatment planning when you get home.
  10. Setting goals for what you will achieve in the next four months

Real dentists. Real Results.

"It is such a beneficial investment!

In the month following this course, my average billing hour increased by nearly fifty pounds so not only did I make back what I had spent on the course, but I earned in excess of that. I cannot express how highly I recommend this course to any dentist, whether at the start of their career or closer to the end of it. There is so much to be gained from it.

I would say if you're ready to stop under planning and start truly advocating for your patients, then do this course!"

~ Dr. Kathryn B, Associate Dentist

I just wanted to start by saying how glad I am to have had the chance to attend the Rapid and Efficient Treatment Planning course over the weekend—thank you so much for supporting me with this opportunity.

It was incredibly motivating, and I’ve already found myself approaching more complex treatment plans today that I might previously have hesitated with, which feels like real progress! I'm really grateful to Dr Lincoln and the RipeGlobal team for the inspiration, and I'm excited to keep building on this momentum."

I feel like this course has changed my life, I know it's early days, but yesterday and today I feel much less tired psychologically, as tx planning seems so much simpler, and I stopped stressing about making the "perfect decision", all that load off my shoulders! The perfectionism was burning me out.

I also find it so easy to recommend based on what I would like to have done in my own mouth, if feels so natural to say, if it was me- this is the best option. Up until now i thought i had a duty to defend the NHS and the type of dentistry it can provide, and not dare it make it look inferior. You've completely shifted my perception of what is "clinically necessary".

From first day, I've had a patient agree to pvt composite.

I did an emax only prep rather than crown (felt the fear and did it anyway), I took digital impressions (fumbled abit but got better!). I used to pride myself in being "cautious"...but I want to learn faster now, I feel like I've got permission to get it wrong, as it will go wrong at some point regardless.

Lincoln Harris, those two days have been life changing- thank you so much!!

After the course, I feel so much confidence in treatment planning and no longer feel guilty offering private options to all patients knowing that it too can be an ethical approach. I'm a lot more aware of the tone of my voice when delivering a treatment plan and how that may affect how the pt proceeds.

Something interesting my pt said today, he's been in this city for 30 years, switched 13 different dentists, and all he's ever been offered was to be "patched up".

His eyes lit up when I recommended we look at a comprehensive tx plan to include replacement, restoring and straightening.

It makes me wonder how many of those 13 dentists were likely very capable of delivering good dentistry, but only offered what they thought the pt can afford/ what the NHS can afford/ their own financial limitations!
